Nestled along the Woongarra coastline, the Mon Repos Turtle Centre is dedicated to marine turtle research, protection, and education. Visitors can explore interactive displays and the Turtle Tales Immersive Experience, which includes a theatre showcasing the loggerhead turtle's story through film and light and soundscapes. The centre also features the Junior Discovery zone, where children can engage with turtle conservation tools and techniques. While the centre does not display live turtles, it offers guided Turtle Encounter tours from November to late March, providing opportunities to witness nesting and hatching turtles in their natural habitat. The Milbi Café and gift shop offer bush tucker-inspired cuisine and Indigenous gifts. The centre is open daily from 9 am to 2 pm, with extended hours during turtle season. Access is free during the day, with additional fees for certain experiences.
