
Housed in the historic Moe Court House, the Moe & District Historical Society offers a captivating glimpse into the region's past. Its extensive collection includes over 3,000 photographs, 2,250 articles, and approximately 650 artifacts, all cataloged for public access. Exhibits showcase the area's development, featuring items from domestic life, gold and coal mining, and early electricity generation. The society's archives also encompass printed materials, maps, and illustrations, providing a comprehensive resource for historical research. Open every Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, February through November, or by appointment.
