Mimi's House

Mimi's House, located at 11 Bundaberg Street in Deception Bay, Queensland, is an innovative early intervention program dedicated to supporting children from Prep to Grade 5 who are at risk of disengaging from education. By partnering with primary schools, it creates a nurturing, home-like environment that fosters the social, emotional, and physical development of these children. The program offers early intervention nurturing sessions, mentoring, and family support, aiming to empower children to achieve greater success in school and personal life. Since its inception in 2013, Mimi's House has positively impacted over 300 children, demonstrating significant improvements in school attendance and classroom behavior.
