The Millicent Resource Recovery Centre, located at 61 Saleyards Road, Millicent, operates as a waste transfer station offering residents and ratepayers a convenient facility for responsible waste disposal. Open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, the centre accepts a variety of materials, including household waste, recyclables, scrap metal, e-waste, and domestic quantities of motor oil. Notably, the centre provides free mulch collection days throughout the year, allowing residents to collect garden mulch at no cost. Additionally, the centre participates in the drumMUSTER program, offering a recycling pathway for eligible empty agricultural and veterinary chemical containers.
