
Housed in a restored 1873 primary school, the Millicent Museum showcases the town's rich history through diverse exhibits. Visitors can explore the Shipwreck Room, admire the Helen Hughes Costume Collection, and view a T-class locomotive. The museum boasts one of Australia's finest collections of horse-drawn vehicles, alongside displays of farm machinery and Aboriginal cave art replicas. Entry is via the Visitor Information Centre, which also features a craft gallery. The museum is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and weekends and public holidays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. It is closed on Christmas Day. Admission fees are $12 for adults, $8 for concessions, $5 for children aged 5 to 15, and $25 for a family of two adults and four children. School groups are charged $2 per student.
