Millewa Pioneer Park, located 90 km from Mildura on Millewa Road at Meringur, was established in 1986 to honor the early settlers who built homes and farms in challenging conditions. Operated by a dedicated volunteer committee, the park offers a hands-on display of the Millewa District's history and lifestyle, emphasizing the preservation of the community's heritage and environment. Visitors can explore over 50 historical buildings, including a 1870s log cottage, schoolhouse, and railway ticket office, providing insight into pioneer life. The park is open daily for self-guided tours, with guides and light catering available by appointment. In June 2025, the park will participate in the "Back to the Millewa" celebrations, marking 100 years of settlement.
