Located in Milang, South Australia, the Milang Old School House Community Centre (MOSHCC) serves as a vibrant hub for local residents. Established in 2003 within the historic teacher’s residence of the Milang Campus – Eastern Fleurieu School, it offers a range of facilities including photocopying, printing, scanning, laminating, computer and internet access, office facilities, phone/fax services, emergency assistance, kitchen facilities, family information, and tourist information. The centre also provides meeting rooms and halls available for booking, such as the Office Space for small private meetings, the ACE Space for small groups, and the Milang Institute with its Main Hall and Supper Room. Managed by the Milang & District Community Association Inc., MOSHCC promotes community well-being through development, health promotion, mutual support, adult learning, and family activities. The centre also offers community care services, including emergency relief, adult community education, childcare, a community garden, and support for parents and families. Additionally, the Milang Community Garden, managed by MOSHCC, aims to produce healthy, fresh, nutritious, locally grown fruit and vegetables, with communal plots and individual beds available for community members.
