Mikkira Station Koala Sanctuary

Nestled approximately 30 km southwest of Port Lincoln on the Eyre Peninsula, Mikkira Station Koala Sanctuary offers a serene bushland setting where visitors can observe wild koalas in their natural habitat. The sanctuary features numerous Manna Gum trees, providing ample opportunities for koala spotting, bird-watching, and nature walks. Camping is available from May to October, with facilities including flush toilets and a hot shower. Please note, pets, firearms, and recreational motorbikes are not permitted on the property to ensure the safety of the wildlife.
