Nestled on the banks of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel in Flowerpot, Mewstone Wines offers a serene tasting experience. The vineyard, established in 2011 by brothers Matthew and Jonathan Hughes, spans 5.2 hectares, primarily cultivating Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling. Their cellar door, open Friday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, provides guided tastings of 8–9 seasonal wines from both Mewstone and Hughes & Hughes ranges for $25 per person. Locally sourced seasonal platters complement the tastings, and wines are available for purchase or delivery. Advance bookings are recommended to ensure a relaxed and intimate experience.
