Located in the heart of Merriwa, the Merriwa Tourist Welcoming Centre, also known as "The Hut," is a community-operated cooperative that showcases a diverse range of local arts, crafts, and memorabilia. The centre also features antique machinery and a shearing display, offering insights into the region's agricultural heritage. With ample parking facilities, including spaces for buses and caravans, it's an ideal stop for travelers on the Golden Highway. The centre operates daily from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day.
