The Merriwa Silo Art, completed in April 2019, is the first painted GrainCorp silo in New South Wales. Artist David Lee Pereira's mural features sheep wearing red socks in a canola field, symbolizing Merriwa's rich Merino wool heritage and the annual Festival of the Fleeces. The artwork was created using 160 litres of primer and 280 litres of paint. Located on Hacketts Road, the silos are a prominent feature of the Australian Silo Art Trail.
