Merriland Hall, located at Mazlin Street in Atherton, Queensland, is a heritage-listed community venue with a rich history dating back to World War II. Constructed in November 1943 by the Allied Works Council, it was originally an Australian Defence Canteen. After the war, the Atherton Show Society acquired the structure, and in 1948, it was transformed into a community hall, now known as Merriland Hall. The hall features a distinctive timber arched design and has been a central hub for social and cultural events in the region for decades.
