Merewether Lookout

At the end of Hickson Street in Merewether, the lookout offers panoramic views of Burwood Beach and the surrounding Glenrock State Conservation Area. A short walk from the street leads to a landscaped lawn area, ideal for picnics and relaxation. The lookout is also a popular spot for hang gliding, with launch sites available for enthusiasts. Access to the beach is facilitated by a well-constructed track featuring sturdy metal steps and platforms, making it suitable for visitors of all ages. Please note, there are no facilities at the lookout; visitors are encouraged to take all rubbish with them when they leave.
