The Merbein Community Rodeo, established in 2007, is an annual event held on the second Saturday in October at Kenny Park, Box Street, Merbein. The rodeo features thrilling competitions such as bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback riding, and barrel racing, attracting top Australian riders. The event is fully catered, with food and drinks available for purchase, and offers fundraising opportunities for local community groups. Gates open at 5:00 PM, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Alcohol is not permitted to be brought onto the grounds. The next rodeo is scheduled for Saturday, 11 October 2025, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
