Located adjacent to the Merbein Library, the Merbein District Historical Society Inc & Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and promoting the history of Merbein and its surrounding areas. Established in 1997, the society offers a range of activities, including monthly meetings, field trips, and presentations. Visitors can explore diverse displays and browse through numerous publications on local history. The museum is open every Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm and on the third Sunday of each month during the same hours. Entry is free, and the society welcomes new members interested in engaging with the community's rich heritage.
