Established in 1962, Meningie CFS is a dedicated volunteer fire station located at 104 Princes Highway, Meningie, South Australia. Serving as a sub-base for the Coorong Group, the station operates a 4WD 3000L General Purpose Appliance and a 4WD 3000L Light Pumper, equipped with advanced firefighting tools and rescue equipment. The station responds to a diverse range of incidents, including grass and structure fires, road crash rescues, and storm damage. Community members interested in volunteering are encouraged to attend training sessions held every Monday at 7:30 pm.
