MEN'S SHED YUNGABURRA

Yungaburra Men's Shed is a non-profit community organization offering a welcoming space for men to engage in various activities together. Established in 2021, it provides a friendly environment for men to work on projects, learn new skills, and enjoy camaraderie. The Shed features a well-equipped workshop for woodworking, woodturning, and metalwork, as well as a gathering area with a piano, pool table, darts board, small library, and board games. Members also participate in nutrition programs, preparing meals and discussing health benefits. Community involvement is central, with the Shed repairing medical equipment for the local Lions Club and assisting local schools and kindergartens. Fundraising efforts include membership fees, donations, product sales, and raffles. The Shed is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
