Memorial miners walk

The Miners' Memorial Walk in Charters Towers honors those who lost their lives in mining accidents during the gold rush era. This 54-meter elevated boardwalk features replica poppet head structures and interpretive panels, providing insights into the region's mining history. A glass platform offers a view into the historic Wyndham No.3 mineshaft, over 170 meters deep.
