Melville Caves Campground

Nestled within Kooyoora State Park, the Melville Caves Campground offers a spacious, free camping experience in central Victoria. The campground features multiple separate campsites equipped with picnic tables, fire pits, wood-fired barbecues, and non-flush toilets. A large undercover area, constructed with decorative stone blocks, provides shelter and a communal space for visitors. Surrounded by stunning granite boulders and diverse flora, the area is ideal for nature enthusiasts. Scenic walking tracks, including the 5.3 km Long Rock Walking Track, offer breathtaking views and opportunities for exploration. Please note, dogs are permitted on-leash within the campground but are not allowed in the caves, picnic area, or walking tracks.
