Nestled along the Pioneer River in Marian's Edward Lloyd Park, Melba House Visitor Information Centre offers a unique glimpse into the early life of Dame Nellie Melba, who resided here from 1882 to 1884. The 1882 timber house, relocated and restored in 1994, now houses an accredited visitor information centre, featuring displays of Melba memorabilia and local sugar industry artifacts. Visitors can explore a range of locally crafted souvenirs, enjoy refreshments at the Vintage Kiss Café, and access free Wi-Fi. The surrounding park offers walking paths, a children's playground, and opportunities for fishing, canoeing, and platypus spotting along the river. The centre operates daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
