Medowie Lion's Park

Medowie Lion's Park, located at 44A Ferodale Road, serves as a vibrant community hub in Medowie, New South Wales. The park is home to the Medowie Lions Club, a volunteer organization dedicated to serving the local community through various activities such as Driver Reviver, markets, bingo, and BBQ fundraisers. The Lions Club also hosts twice-monthly meetings, fostering a strong sense of community engagement. Additionally, the park is the site of the Medowie War Memorial, which honors Australia's servicemen and women. The memorial features a corten steel silhouette of a lone soldier, sandstone plinths, and commemorative plantings like Gallipoli rosemary, Gallipoli roses, and Grevillea Spirit of ANZAC. An Eternal Flame is planned for future inclusion. The park's central location and diverse facilities make it a focal point for community events and gatherings.
