The Lions Club also hosts twice-monthly meetings, fostering a strong sense of community engagement. Additionally, the park is the site of the Medowie War Memorial, which honors Australia's servicemen and women. The memorial features a corten steel silhouette of a lone soldier, sandstone plinths, and commemorative plantings like Gallipoli rosemary, Gallipoli roses, and Grevillea Spirit of ANZAC. An Eternal Flame is planned for future inclusion. The park's central location and diverse facilities make it a focal point for community events and gatherings.
