
Meander Falls, located in Tasmania's Great Western Tiers, offers a challenging 10-kilometre return hike through lush temperate rainforests. The trail follows the Meander River, ascending 470 meters over rocky and steep terrain, leading to the impressive 130-meter-high waterfall cascading in two tiers. The journey takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, rewarding hikers with breathtaking views and a sense of accomplishment. Facilities at the trailhead include a bush toilet and shelter hut. Access is via Meander Falls Road, approximately a 50-minute drive from Deloraine.
