The area is renowned for its water lilies and abundant fishing opportunities, particularly for golden perch and jewfish. The campground features a spacious, flat, grassy area shaded by numerous trees, providing both powered and unpowered sites suitable for tents and caravans. Essential amenities include toilets, showers, and a dump point. The council offers a unique payment system: pay for the first night, and the second and third nights are free, with a maximum stay of 14 days. Fees are collected by council rangers who visit the site. To reach the campground, head to the corner of Condamine-Meandarra Road as it enters the town area from the north.
