
The McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre, located at 796 Main Road, McLaren Vale, serves as the gateway to the Fleurieu Peninsula. This award-winning, architecturally and environmentally designed centre is surrounded by vineyards and offers a range of services and facilities. Visitors can enjoy the Stump Hill Café with its kitchen garden, explore the Ginny Pig Distillery Door, and view local, regional, and state exhibitions at The Gallery. Additional amenities include a nature playground, self-guided sustainability trail, free Wi-Fi, electric bike hire, and direct access to the Shiraz Trail. The centre also provides free accommodation and tour booking services, public toilets, and a cycle repair station. A variety of local produce, souvenirs, gifts, and maps are available for purchase. The centre is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and weekends and public holidays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day.
