The band practices regularly in their hall, which underwent significant renovations in April 2024, funded by a $19,400 grant from the Community Bank Avoca, Maryborough, and St Arnaud. The refurbished hall is available for community hire, offering a versatile space for various events. The band actively participates in local events, including the Australian Pipe Band Championships held in Maryborough in April 2024. They also host a 'Come and Try' day, inviting individuals to experience the world of pipe bands firsthand. The Maryborough & District Highland Pipe Band continues to be a cornerstone of the community, fostering a deep appreciation for Scottish heritage through music and cultural engagement.
