Mary Lawson Wayside Rest

Located along the Newell Highway in Finley, the Mary Lawson Wayside Rest offers travelers a serene stopover with expansive grassy areas and mature trees. Amenities include picnic tables, a rotunda, a playground, and accessible toilet facilities. At the southern end, visitors can explore a museum and a car park. The rest area honors Mary Lawson, a former Mayoress of Deniliquin, who was awarded an M.B.E. for her services to public and charitable organizations.
