Mary Ellis Wreck Beach, also known as Sleaford Bay, is a picturesque coastal destination located approximately 20 minutes south of Port Lincoln. This small surf beach offers a variety of activities, including swimming, surfing, dolphin watching, and exploring the surrounding sand dunes. The dunes provide stunning panoramic views over the bay to the south and Sleaford Mere to the north. Visitors can access the beach via 4WD vehicles, but should exercise caution due to the presence of children and other beachgoers. Please note that the beach has a rip current, and there are no surf patrols in the area. Restroom facilities are available nearby, but visitors are encouraged to take their rubbish with them to maintain the beach's natural beauty.
