Nestled in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve spans 55 hectares of subtropical rainforest, offering tranquil walks along over 2 kilometers of tracks and boardwalks. The Rainforest Discovery Centre features interactive displays and a café with panoramic views of the Glasshouse Mountains. Accessible facilities include the Glider Gallery boardwalk and the Butterfly Walk, suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. The reserve is home to diverse wildlife, including the endangered Coxen’s fig parrot and red-legged pademelons. Open daily from 7 am to 6 pm, entry is by gold coin donation.
