The Marong Rifle Range, located on Marong-Serpentine Road in Marong, VIC 3515, is a versatile shooting facility managed by the SSAA Bendigo Branch. It features a covered firing line with 24 movable benches, accommodating various shooting positions such as standing and sitting. The range welcomes all rifle types, from air rifles to big game rifles, with target frames set at distances from 25 to 200 meters. Additional facilities include rimfire metallic silhouette stands extending to 200 meters and options for shotgun practice or competition. The range hosts general shooting sessions on the first and third Sundays of each month at 12:00 pm, with safety and family firearms education (SAFFE) programs on the second Sunday of each month, starting at 9:45 am.
