Marodian

Marodian is a rural locality in Queensland's Fraser Coast Region, covering approximately 69.5 square kilometers. The area is predominantly used for grazing on native vegetation, with the Marodian pastoral station being a significant landholder. The Brooweena-Woolooga Road traverses the locality from north to south, connecting neighboring areas such as Gigoomgan and Woolooga. Historically, Marodian was known for its gold mining activities in the early 20th century, though these operations have since ceased. Today, the area remains sparsely populated, offering a tranquil rural environment.
