The Mareeba Rodeo, established in 1949, is a premier annual event in Queensland's Far North, held every July at Kerribee Park, Mareeba. This two-day festival features top-tier rodeo competitions, including bull riding, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, and events for ladies and juniors. The 2025 Rodeo is scheduled for July 12th and 13th. In addition to the rodeo, the festival showcases an Agricultural Show with over $6,000 in prize money, a Downtown Parade, and the crowning of the Rodeo Queen. The event also offers camping facilities with over 250 powered sites and numerous unpowered sites, accommodating visitors from March through December.
