Nestled along the Murrumbidgee River in Yanga National Park near Balranald, Mamanga Campground offers a serene retreat with 14 campsites suitable for tents, trailers, caravans, and motorhomes. The campground is divided into two sections: one designated for tent camping and another more open area accommodating caravans and motorhomes. Surrounded by native bushland, visitors can enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, and canoeing in the river. The area is rich in Aboriginal heritage, with many trees bearing bark-scarred evidence of traditional practices. Facilities include picnic tables, wood barbecues, and non-flush toilets. Access is via unsealed roads suitable for 2WD vehicles in dry weather. A $6 booking fee applies, though camping is free. The campground is generally level, offering moderate access for less-mobile visitors.
