The Mallee Eagles, formerly known as the Lalbert Football Club, are a proud member of the Central Murray Football Netball League, competing at the Lalbert Recreation Reserve. Established in 1904, the club celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2024. In 2025, the senior team demonstrated their prowess by securing a 123-point victory over Tooleybuc Manangatang, with forward Darcy Hourigan contributing six goals.
