Malanda Falls Conservation Park, located on the Malanda–Atherton Road, features the perennial Malanda Falls cascading over basalt rock formed by an ancient lava flow. Visitors can explore two short walks through the surrounding rainforest: the Tulip Oak Walk, which includes interpretive signs designed by the local Ngadjon-Jii people, and the Rainforest Walk, following the North Johnstone River. The park offers opportunities to spot wildlife such as platypus, fish, and turtles from viewing decks. Adjacent facilities include picnic areas, shelters, and barbecues.
