Located at 13 Pendrigh Place in St Helens, Mainly Maritime is a unique maritime museum that showcases a vast collection of original artifacts spanning six centuries. The museum is housed in a spacious building divided into multiple areas, allowing visitors to explore Australian and international maritime history, including exploration, warfare, trade, ocean policing, and space exploration. Artifacts on display include paintings, ship models, weapons, uniforms, charts, signed documents, and personnel and ship archives. Additionally, the museum features a library and archives with over 5,000 books and thousands of documents, as well as a collection of over 100,000 original images available for public research.
