Nestled in a tranquil bush valley on the Mornington Peninsula, Main Ridge Estate is the region's first licensed winery, established in 1975. The Sexton family, who took over in 2015, continue to produce premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from estate-grown fruit. Visitors can enjoy wine tastings, casual lunches, and sundowner drinks on the sundeck overlooking the vineyards. The cellar door operates every weekend and most public holidays from noon to 5 pm, with reservations recommended. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome, subject to available seating.
