Main Beach Camping Grounds, located on the eastern side of Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island), offer 300 unpowered campsites along a 38-kilometer stretch of beach. Accessible exclusively by 4WD vehicles with a valid permit, the campground provides a secluded experience with direct beach access. Facilities are minimal; however, campers can purchase a shower pass for amenities at Adder Rock Campground. The area is ideal for tent camping, off-road camper trailers, and off-road caravans. Open fires are permitted for cooking, and dogs are allowed on leashes. Main Beach is renowned for surfing, beach fishing, and seasonal whale watching.
