Established in 1988, this display house is among Australia's largest, featuring hundreds of orchid varieties from around the world. The orchids are thoughtfully arranged around circular walkways, creating a naturalistic setting for visitors to explore. The display is regularly updated, ensuring a fresh experience with each visit. Friendly staff are available to share insights about the orchids, enhancing the educational experience. Access is via Shakespeare Street, with parking available nearby. The Orchid House is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 11am and 2pm to 3pm, and on Sundays from 10am to 2pm, excluding public holidays.
