The Mackay Aquatic & Recreation Complex offers a state-of-the-art facility featuring a FINA-approved 50m pool, a covered 25m pool, and a heated 15m programs pool. The complex also boasts a synthetic athletics track with a nine-lane front straight, eight-lane 400m track, and eight-lane back straight, along with a multi-use playing field. Additional amenities include a clubhouse, canteen, and extensive outdoor grassed areas suitable for family picnics and gatherings. The complex hosts various programs such as Learn to Swim lessons, aqua aerobics, and Masters swimming. Managed by Belgravia Leisure on behalf of the Mackay Regional Council, the facility is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all visitors.
