Maadi is a rural locality in Queensland's Cassowary Coast Region, covering approximately 3.8 square kilometers. As of the 2016 census, it had a population of 38 residents. The area features a mix of steep terrains, with elevations ranging from 20 to 265 meters, and is characterized by its agricultural activities, including sugarcane cultivation and grazing. The locality is traversed by the North Coast railway line, which enters from the south and exits to the north. Notably, Maadi was once served by the now-abandoned Maadi railway station.
