
Embark on a captivating journey with Bardi-Jawi man Bolo Angus through his ancestral homeland at Lullumb, where the bush meets the sea. The Southern Cross Cultural Walk, lasting approximately four hours, offers an immersive experience into Bardi-Jawi culture. Guided by Bolo, visitors traverse mangroves, paperbark forests, salt plains, and creeks, learning traditional hunting and gathering techniques. The tour culminates with a bush tucker cook-up and traditional Kimberley damper. Suitable for all ages, the tour operates daily at 9:00 AM from April to October, with bookings essential. Meeting point is at the Djarindjin Roadhouse, 190 km from Broome. Please bring your own 4WD vehicle, reef sandals or booties, sun protection, a personal water bottle, and a camera.
