Established in 1887, the Lithgow & District Workmen's Club, affectionately known as the "Workies," is the oldest registered club in New South Wales. Over the years, it has grown to over 10,000 members and has become a cornerstone of the Lithgow community. The club offers a variety of facilities, including a Bistro, ESK Bar & Grill, Café & Lounge, and a Function Centre with five rooms suitable for various events. Guests can also enjoy outdoor bar areas, a Bottle Shop, a modern Sports and TAB Lounge, and bowling greens. The adjoining Lithgow Workies Club Motel provides 36 rooms, including two disability access rooms, making it an ideal base for exploring the beautiful colonial Lithgow region. The club is committed to community support, donating over $47,000 to local groups through the ClubGrants program. With secure monitored parking and full EFTPOS and ATM facilities, the Workies ensures a safe and convenient experience for all members and guests.
