Limeburners Creek National Park

Nestled between Crescent Head and Port Macquarie, Limeburners Creek National Park offers a pristine coastal retreat. Visitors can enjoy golden sandy beaches, exceptional surf breaks, and remote camping spots. The park's diverse landscapes, including heathlands, banksia and blackbutt forests, and the rare rainforests of Big Hill, provide habitats for a variety of wildlife. Birdwatchers may spot ospreys, pied oystercatchers, and the rare ground parrot, while other wildlife includes dingoes, koalas, and quolls. The park also holds significant Aboriginal cultural heritage, with sites dating back at least 6,000 years.
