Leongatha Memorial Hall, located at 6-8 McCartin Street, stands as a significant landmark in Leongatha, Victoria. Opened on May 24, 1926, it was designed by architect Theodore E. Molloy and serves as a tribute to those who served in World War I. The hall's centerpiece is a statue of Winged Victory, flanked by bronze lamp standards. Originally, the interior featured twelve panels depicting scenes from major Australian battles of World War I, painted by J. Broche of Inverloch. In 1982, the Memorial Foyer was added, containing honor rolls and plaques. A pair of stained glass windows, dedicated on August 15, 1995, commemorate the 50th anniversary of VJ Day. These windows, titled "1939" and "1945," depict five figures representing each of the armed forces, standing on a cliff overlooking the sea, with a small boy holding an Australian flag.
