Larnangurrak (our place) - Dja Dja Wurrung Corporate & Community Centre

Larnangurrak, meaning "our place" in the Dja Dja Wurrung language, serves as a vibrant hub for the Dja Dja Wurrung community in Bendigo. This purpose-built centre houses approximately 100 staff members and hosts a variety of cultural and corporate activities. Designed with input from the community, it features yarning and sand circles for ceremonial practices, rammed-earth walls, and locally sourced materials like stone and timber. The surrounding landscape incorporates culturally significant plants and a 135kW solar panel system, reflecting the community's commitment to sustainability. Artworks by Dja Dja Wurrung artists adorn the building, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the people. Larnangurrak offers spaces for learning, interaction, and cultural exchange, fostering a strong connection to Country and community.
