Largs Bay Sailing Club

Established in 1926, Largs Bay Sailing Club is a family-oriented venue located on the foreshore at Largs Bay, approximately 200 meters north of the Largs Bay jetty. The club offers a range of facilities, including a modern three-level clubhouse with a wide balcony overlooking the beach and course area, a function room for dining and other activities, a canteen with full kitchen facilities, a fully licensed bar, and two squash courts. The club conducts racing on the waters of Gulf St Vincent directly in front of the club, with boats rigged and launched from a clean, white, sandy beach into shallow waters. The club provides towing vehicles to assist with transport and launching of larger trailerable boats and coach and safety boats. There are large car parks to the north and south of the club and plenty of on-street parking near the club. The club also hosts a variety of sailing events and social activities throughout the year, including junior and youth development programs, sailing competitions, and community classes. The club's facilities are available for hire for conferences, birthdays, weddings, funerals, and other functions.
