
Lane Poole Reserve, located approximately 100 kilometers south-east of Perth, spans over 55,000 hectares in the Murray River Valley. This expansive reserve features diverse landscapes, including lush valley slopes, rock-rimmed river pools, and towering forests of jarrah and marri trees. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as bushwalking, mountain biking, canoeing, and camping. The reserve is home to around 500 native plant species and provides habitat for wildlife like the quokka, woylie, and chuditch. Dogs are permitted in certain areas but must remain on a leash. Standard park entry fees apply, and camping bookings are essential.
