Lakes Entrance Neighbourhood House, located at 9 Heatherlea Grove, serves as a vibrant community hub offering a variety of social, educational, recreational, and support activities. Regular classes include computer studies, cooking, mosaics, and art, catering to diverse interests. The centre also hosts social support groups, knitting sessions every Monday, and a free Tax Help program from July to October. Additional services encompass food assistance on Wednesdays, dog obedience training, and a range of community meetings. Funded by the Department of Health and Human Services, it is a registered Centrelink volunteer organisation.
