Lake Leake

Nestled within an extinct volcano, Lake Leake in Koorine, South Australia, offers a serene retreat for nature enthusiasts. As part of the Kanawinka Geopark's volcanic trail, it provides excellent birdwatching opportunities. The lake features boat launching facilities suitable for fishing, skiing, rowing, and sailing. Self-contained campers are welcome to stay overnight, and clubrooms are available for hire, equipped with tables, chairs, and restroom facilities. Day visitors can enjoy a public barbecue and toilets, with facilities cleaned regularly. Visitors are encouraged to take their rubbish with them to preserve the natural environment.
