Lake Lascelles Campground

Nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Lascelles in Hopetoun, this campground offers a serene retreat for nature enthusiasts. Guests can choose from 12 powered sites or enjoy free camping around the lake's waterfront and surrounding bushland. Amenities include hot showers, toilets, a camp kitchen with a fridge, a vending machine, and a laundry facility. The area features built-in fire pits with cooking plates, and a boat ramp with an all-ability jetty. Fishing enthusiasts can expect a variety of species, including Golden perch, Silver perch, Redfin, and Catfish. The campground is pet-friendly, allowing pets on leads. Located just 500 meters from Hopetoun's town center, it provides easy access to local shops and attractions. Operated by a dedicated volunteer committee, the Mallee Bush Retreat relies on donations to maintain and enhance its facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
